For my research assignment, I think I might like to do something in the food industry – bread, to be more specific. I find health and nutrition very interesting, and so I feel this will serve as a good topic for me to research. I think it is interesting how much advertising and labels for food companies have changed over the years. Instead of saying the food is good-tasting or nutritious, nowadays it seems as though there is more importance and emphasis upon how many calories the food contains or how many carbs have been cut out of it. I plan to use various databases, search engines, books and periodicals to reasearch my topic.

I will be very interested in reading your research paper b/c I find that stuff interesting too. I think your argument is how much emphasis is put on nutrition rather than taste or quality.

I really like your topic idea. You’re definitely correct in the overall switch in emphasis over the years. It’ll be really interesting to see when the whole change over began.

That is a very interesting topic..I use to want to be a nutritionist so I would like to read your paper. I would have to say your argument is how throughout the decades, the food industry has placed more of an importance on staying healthy and calories, than the taste of the food.
